I'm with #TheBoys but not Butcher specifically. Great character but he was straight wilding to the point that it undermined his own goals.

Like him hating on Hughie fukking Starlight. Butcher could've probably gotten the same info, or maybe even more, just telling him "hey man, get into a relationship with her and see what she tells you."

I mean....her dating Hughie could potentially lead to her as an ally one day, which they could obviously use. But Butcher hated super heroes so much the thought didn't even cross his mind.

Ain't posted much in this thread but I'm on episode 7 and this shyt is super dope.

Was kinda at the way Hughie just froze up when confronted by Starlight though. Not mad at the show specifically, but it's a kinda worn out trope where a character doesn't express themselves in a way that would clear up a situation....solely for the purpose of heightening the dramatic tension.

I'm not saying if I explained it she wouldn't have been mad still....but I could've cleaned that situation up a bit.

I swear there is nothing I hate more than this.. it’s soooooo annoying when just about every tv show does this. He could have easily told her what really happened and why he did what he was doing. But noooo they always bytch up when it’s time to be confronted, then he just left her after she got shot. I wouldn’t have been made if she would’ve blasted him or smacked him around next time she saw him
