I agree but it goes with the ideology that Luke is a terrible teacher that eventually lead to Kylo turning on him. He adhered too close to the old teachings rather than accepting and allow Jedi to have emotions like he did coming up.

Luke was the only Jedi left when Yoda died. Why wouldn’t he keep his lightsaber?

All ima say if you a true Star Wars fan you might have shed a tear. When Ashoka said Luke was just like his Father and the look he gave her mannn. Its dope bringing Cad in from Clone Wars. You can tell in this thread who aint tapped in so much small shyt luke running wit Grogu like he did wit Yoda. Retconning Yodas light saber because it was supposedly destroyed. The Order 66 flashback with the Clone Army crazzzyyyy. So2 to the youtuber they hired for the cgi just seeing luke like that was amazing. Kinda scary but amazing

I don't follow the novelizations or comic books, because I take those as possible outcomes and not full canon, but I understand in one of them Vadar supposedly destroyed Yoda's saber. Either way, there nothing to hint that Yoda had another one or his original one or even Luke was away of Yoda having one when Yoda was alive.
