Is it just me or is anyone else bothered about potentially casting someone shorter than 6' for Batman?

Im seeing names like Kit Harrington, Oscar Isaac and this Jack O'Connell dude and theyre all 5'9 and shorter and Im already like no, too short.

nothing was wrong with affleck as batman, matter of fact he was the only good thing in b v s and justice league.

Aging, bloated, alcoholic Batman is an interesting rock bottom for the character to hit before he works his way to redemption.

Aging, bloated, alcoholic Affleck is a liability.

Mans had to check in to rehab while he was supposed to be prepping for a movie that he was slated to write, star in and direct. That's a lot of money to put on the line for someone who might not be well enough to hold up their end of the deal.

And on top of that, the cost of insuring him would have been nuts.

Armie Hammer refutes 'Batman' rumours: 'No one has checked my availability' (exclusive)

In an alternate timeline, DC fans would have seen Armie Hammer playing Batman in George Miller’s Justice League: Mortal but, alas, that never came to fruition.

However, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive ever since Ben Affleck confirmed he wouldn’t be returning as Bruce Wayne, freeing up the role for another actor to take his place in DC’s upcoming solo film The Batman.

War For The Planet of the Apes’ Matt Reeves[/a], but he confirmed to Yahoo Movies UK that he had not been approached for the job.

“No one who can actually give me the job has asked me if I’m interested,” Hammer said. “I don’t even know if they are done – they are still working on a script.

“I don’t think that they are close to production but I can conclusively tell you that no one has checked my availability, which is a bummer.”
