the roys don't really have old money. this has been shown in every episode where you see them interacting wtih the pierce family, who regularly look down on the roy's as uneducated heathens. logan was a self made billionaire, and his kids are technically the second generation.

Great fukking episode. That Tom/Shiv scene is the coldest convo since Shiv and her mom.

When they cut back to Tom alone on the balcony for a split second I thought he was going to jump.

That Tom/Shiv back and forth was some real shyt but if we are keeping it 1000, Tom was on point.

And him throwing everyone out like Martin was hilarious.

Because even if he did use that “ladder” he still had to do what he needed to do to make his moves. Shiv thinks more of herself than she really is and is clearly wearing a Logan paper mache head like it’s a real crown. This chick is as fragile as the thinnest piece of ice in the summer.

It’s wild that Kendall is making his play and in the last 2-3 episodes this dude magically is more competent. The Gerry/Roman shyt is a dumpster fire and that sets the stage for Kendall being the sole survivor of the bunch. Shiv gets nothing and you “reward” Tom with ATN as a way for him to cash in some loyalty bucks. Greg gets to stay as a trusted Tom acolyte.

And with the GoJo numbers looking funky AND Mattson being a fish out of water in NYC, you get at this dude about a deal so he can fukk off once and for all. Weird thing is him and Kendall got past dirt so I wonder how much hardball he plays or bows out gracefully because the SEC is a fight no one wants.

Everyone in show treats him with kid gloves because theyre all scared until one by one realize hes noone special. All those moves we thought were him tryna play everyonr was just him having his kendall coke moments.

Even with the shows obvious framing of the rich, i dont think many saw that coming and supposed there was a method to the madness but nope.

Roman’s eulogy is gonna be it. Whether it’s a train wreck, or a tear-jerker, it’s going to be that character’s defining moment. With only Shiv coming close, Roman was the most devoted to Logan, and has been a subsequent train wreck in trying to cope with Logan croaking. He was the only child that went on the plane to look at the body, and has been trying ever since to disassociate from the reality that Logan’s really gone.

Then there’s also the fact this will be his first actual public speech. Roman‘s always been forced to play the background because he’s a “sicko”. He could’ve joined Kendall for the Living+ speech, but he loafed and felt emasculated. Now he’s got the spotlight solely him, he’s an emotional timebomb right now, and the last thing Roman said to his father was Roman actually standing up for himself, and calling Logan out on his bs (“Are you a c*nt?”).



Look how happy he was before he realized he didn’t say anything in the video, he wants to be recognized as somebody.

He’s Fredo if Fredo never went against the family, and now it’s his time to shine…on the biggest stage possible for him.

It’s so wild that we collectively assumed he was the baby of the family when it was Shiv the whole time.

I kind of felt like last weeks was one of the worst Succession episodes but we're back on track this week. fantastic episode.

the reveal that Matsson isn't a big handsome mysterious European and that he's actually just as pathetic, goofy and incompetent as Kendall and Roman is funny as hell. the exception being is that compared to those two he'd actually be quite scary if you're in say.... Ebba's position.

we all know Kendall took Nate's "you're not Logan and thats a good thing" as an insult

don't need to say much about the Tom/Shiv scene that hasn't been said enough already, just acknowledge how good it and they were

I love that this show constantly highlights that the rich and powerful are not gods with amazing skills and intellect, they can be petty people prone to stupidity.
