I kind of felt like last weeks was one of the worst Succession episodes but we're back on track this week. fantastic episode.

the reveal that Matsson isn't a big handsome mysterious European and that he's actually just as pathetic, goofy and incompetent as Kendall and Roman is funny as hell. the exception being is that compared to those two he'd actually be quite scary if you're in say.... Ebba's position.

we all know Kendall took Nate's "you're not Logan and thats a good thing" as an insult

don't need to say much about the Tom/Shiv scene that hasn't been said enough already, just acknowledge how good it and they were

I don't see the parallels between Avon and stringer other than the balcony itself.

That shyt was the Tony / Carmella argument from Pine Berrens White Caps where they at this point absolutely resent each other, and what they've made each other become. It's the highest tier of loathing someone you love. Really insidious. And at some point you say it all. I've had that moment and it's the only argument I've ever really had with my girl.

I love that this show constantly highlights that the rich and powerful are not gods with amazing skills and intellect, they can be petty people prone to stupidity.

Can you imagine what a Mattson would be like on "Billions?"

He'd be an unstoppable Bond villian with "Tony Stark" level tech toys.

And 11 steps ahead of everyone else.

Oh yeah! And whenever he showed up there would be a cameo like Elon Musk in the room.

The thing about Gerri telling Rome that is, why didnt you tell Rome that the other episode where he fired you? All he wanted was for you to believe in him and she went about it the worst way and decided to take shots instead.
