I mean honestly, i felt the same way dude felt without even watching season 3.
Sometimes its best to to go out on top.
Word to Dexter.

Muthafukkas be making a million seasons of shyt.
well given how i don't know what his critique is, from your post, i assume he feels there shouldn't have been a season 3? to that i say he's wrong, the majority of us here, and opinions i've seen elsewhere, feel this is their best season, at worst on par with season one. nothing superfluous or extra about it. i could see this getting long in the tooth if it were like season 5, but this shyt nailed every storyline...told 5 stories in tandem and weaved them back together seamlessly

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Not sure what that has to do with anything. This ain't a series about them....it's about the 80's. They've nailed every other aspect of that era down to the smallest detail. For them to randomly decide not to include the genesis of one of the most popular genres in history is :patrice:
Cats can't make a period piece and just be like :manny: "I'm not fukking with that specific aspect of that era, let's leave it out".

Fred.
This is a fact. nikka talkin bout nikkas aint get on to hip hop till the mid 90s is straight up buggin. Lol

Now I have NO desire to watch this season.
:francis:
A lot of the podcasters seem over it. shyt is still very entertaining to me:hubie:

Korey’s complaint was some of the storylines are worthless. Everyone in here disagrees :hubie:

I just wish Lucas get him a lil brehette because I find Max to be annoying and why does every Black Male on TV have to have a Non-Black girlfriend or wife?!

Lucas can do better than being being verbally abused by Max and not having his own storyline.

Breh..
Korey was mad because the kids were a$$holes:russ:
They are fukking teenagers:lolbron:
I don’t know any teenager in the history of the world that wasn’t an a$$hole/always fought with each other:mjlol:
Korey nitpicks a lot stuff that absolutely makes no sense..
That’s his whole critique in summation..
Then he goes on a rant about nostalgia..
nikka what:russ:
The show takes place in the 80s..
Da Hell:mjlol:
This season was strong..
It had some missteps and plot holes im questioning..
But the shyt he was talking:skip:

Well that would be a couple years later....but I'm saying. I can kinda over look it for now but if this shyt moves to '86 or beyond with no hip-hop I'm gonna be looking at the series kinda funny.

:russ: this show is about the supernatural, throw back creature features in the 80s. How many monster movies from the 80s can you name that have a hip hop soundtrack? 2 black characters who's parents I never see and all of a sudden we need hip hop and break dancing?

You cats are wilding in this thread.

I never said anything about break dancing Or a hip-hop soundtrack.

RUN DMC performed in front of 100,000 people the same year this season is set in....at Live Aid, a concert broadcast via satellite to 1.9 billion people.

CNN.com - Live Aid 1985: A day of magic - Jul 1, 2005

But Bob Geldof's genius was to use the latest TV satellite technology to link up Wembley in north London, JFK Stadium in Philadelphia and a host of smaller venues in other countries to blitz the world's TV networks.

It was the first truly global concert, and people felt empowered and exhilarated. They felt they really could help change the world.

About 1.9 billion viewers in 150 countries -- the biggest-ever TV audience -- watched.

You're acting like I said some obscure, hidden underground hip-hop head type shyt. RUN DMC was very mainstream in 1985.

1. That was July 13. The show took place July 4th
2. Its a throwback 80s monster film not a documentary
3. How many 80s monster films/shows that feature just one hip hop song
4. Why is this such a big deal to you? :mjlol:
