So, I finally got the chance to purchase my steam deck on Monday…. Does it usually take this long to ship?

I just ordered it yesterday. Did you get yours yet? I checked on Reddit and they said they usually ship 2 days after you purchase it.

Yeah, I ended up getting it Tuesday. Got the email to purchase and paid on 8/15. It shipped late Sunday into Monday.

My reservation had been in purgatory since since Jan so last week I went and bought the Backbone One for my iPhone. I was pretty happy with it and was about to cancel my Deck order but yesterday I got that email about my order being readied for shipment…

I went ahead and completed the purchase but I’m not sure if it’s worth having both.

Just not enough time in the day.

I should’ve gotten the 64gb … I dont think 512gb is worth it.. I’ll probly cancel and just wait it out a bit more

^^^I got the 16 bit color. I’m not a huge gamer, and only plan on emulating GBA, DS, Dreamcast, and maybe PSP games on this thing. I actually order the AYN Odin a few weeks back, but canceled the order because I couldn’t justify the over $300 that I was paying for it. This only cost me $144. I’m looking forward to it!

Edit: It arrived today!!! Finally. I’m probably not going to have time to set it up for a while, because its a pretty involved process, but, I got a 512GB SD Card for it. I’m going to load it up with roms, and go from there. Very excited about this thing.

Went ahead and bought the Mass Effect Collection, TitanFall 2 and Midnight Fight Express. Got Disco Elysium on wishlist waiting for it to go on sale again.. That was my number 1 reason for wanting this.
