I knew once the Empire gave Crosshair free will that he was going to be loyal to the Empire. They gave him purpose and didn't at that time abandoned him. The Bad Batched, and especially Hunter fuccked up, because they KNEW what was wrong with Crosshair and didn't go back for him, instead took on other missions as if Crosshair was dead to them. So, Crosshair had every right to be salty about that. It'll be interesting how the finale will go though.

Yep I was wondering about that all season. It never was mentioned to try and grab him and bring him back to that cruiser for surgery like they got.

Hunter did fukk up and it would be interesting to see him atone. 50/50 they come together as a single crew next week.

No Whammies!!
Makes sense Crosshair got it out after they burnt his face. Prior to that, he was obsessed with them, after that he started considering other mission objectives. It'll be interesting to see if he stays or tries to go back to the Empire.

I don't understand how he could go back to the Empire after he killed a bunch of stormtroopers.
Plus, the admiral ordered his ships to open fire on the city knowing he was in there.

It wouldn't make sense for him to expect they would just take him back.

Let me rewatch it again. I didn’t peep them knowing he killed his squad

Really good episode, didn’t really change the status quo. I hope they do at least one flashback episode to a mission of the bunch during the war. It would be interesting to see the team in a action oriented episode.

they should have held off on announcing season 2 until after this episode.

would have made it much more suspenseful. :francis:

overall ok season, not as good as the best stuff from rebels and clone wars, definitely not on par with any of the mando seasons.

the animation and music is next level though. i hope disney keep that budget up for all future animated series. :wow:

Overall, this was a pretty good season of TV.
Just a little too slow, next season I will wait until the last couple weeks to binge through everything.

1. The pacing of this season was waaaaaay too slow.
2. Why do I feel like they're about to retcon/backstory a segue into the Disney trilogy mess, using Nala Se as the source of Palpatine's cloning tech :francis:

I think its more likely they're connecting to Grogu on "The Mandalorian". The scientist at the end was wearing the same uniform as the scientist that was experimenting on Grogu.
