Yup tony said he was trying to do what his father never did and that he wanted parker to be better. Honestly tony's parts werent a big distraction and i like that his suit actually had some kind of tech in it besides being a kid in spandex considering all the shyt we see in the MCU it wouldnt be fair.

Tony being a dyck talmbout vulture is below their pay grade like falcon aint the same damn thing as vulture :mjlol:

If they wrote Spidey to his full potential he'd make most of the other MCU heroes look like a fukking joke. Hell even as is he's mostly struggling because of inexperience.

This was definitely the closest to the comic book Spiderman. Not sure if most if you know, but Peter was a teenager for a very long time in the early comics. Tom Holland's mannerisms, humour, and wit fit perfectly with how Peter Parker/Spider-Man should be.

Another thing.... This was really a 70% Peter Parker and 30% Spiderman movie.

Peter Parkers coming of age was really focused on more than the overall development of him as Spider-Man.

Fixed. If anything, maybe even closer to 50/50. I just came from the theaters and this Spiderman movie had more moments of him in costume than pretty much all of the previous movies. There was a shyt ton of him in costume throughout the movie. If anything, they finally got amount the right amount of pacing and screen-time between the dual personas. He even did a lot of low-level moments suited up.

I think the people that didn't like the movie were people that were looking for a movie fully about Spiderman with no Peter Parker storyline. Those people are upset because this movie isn't filled with building to building web slinging and crazy Spidey acrobatics.

My response to that is there's 5 movies full of that shyt....go watch em

Oh yea i know and agree but this iron man as his mentor retcon u cant have him holding his own yet without some kind of help. I know most of the strong characters are underpowered so they had to tone him down too. Cant have him tossing cars with ease just yet

The balance was perfect thats why it flowed so quick for a 2 hour movie. Part of spiderman's appeal is being the nerdy dork that does amazing shyt
