That justice league trailer they showed during the coming soon section was meh.

And they dropping a movie like that in November. :russ:

They dropped justice league to compete with THOR....... THOR... one of marvel's lesser movies. All so they can claim victory over Marvel for once at the box office. :russ:
I just realized I posted this in the wrong thread :snoop:

I'll take the negs :hubie:

Sony gets the box office. Marvel handled the production along with Amy Pascal. But one of the reasons something like this is able to pop is because Sony gave Marvel merchandising rights to spider man 6 years ago. So any spider man toy, bed sheet, or homecoming branded merch goes in Marvel's ledger

How does it work for Avengers movies that Spider-man appears in? A split, or box office straight to Marvel? And have they said anything about Spider-man villains (Like Vulture for instance) appearing in MCU movies?

Sounds like a win for Marvel tbh. Better Spider-Man movie = better merchandise money

Sony gets all the box office, spider man makes 3 appearances in mcu flicks. Sony makes no money from any marvel films.

Sony sold off the merchandising rights years ago when the company was looking like it was going to go under. Those were dark years for Sony

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Side note...

:mjlol:Keaton was the blackest character in the movie.

- He was a righteous hustler, just trying to keep up with the jones.
- He had a no snitching policy.
- He wanted to stick it to the "man"

- Had a black wife.
- Was willing to steal and rob just to keep her happy.
- Treated the brotha on his team better than his other counterparts.
- When Shocker told him he was gonna dip now that Iron Man and the feds was on they ass, he was like :mjpls:
[\spoiler]

I can't really look at Vulture as a villain in this movie. He was more of an anti hero :manny:

We need more anti hero's. I think the best villains are the ones with legit beefs that would make you come to the same decisions if put in similar circumstances.

Yeah everybody wins on the real

If he's in the movie, I'm sure they split that one. And Marvel has free reign to use any spider man villain they want. There's no restrictions according to the cats who'd know

Just re-watched it again. Much better than Civil War. Best MCU movie I've watched since Winter Soldier.

I don't mind the suit so much on a second watch. I'm coming around to the different take on it.

I saw it last night. I thought it was pretty damn good one of the best Marvel movies behind only Civil War, TWS and maybe the first avengers.
On a side note am I the ONLY one who thought the Donald Glover car scene was pretty stupid :martin: seems like they ONLY threw him because of his recent popularity and to tie in Miles. :dahell:
Of course they did. They didn't have to do that at all but I'm glad they did. Fan service. :yeshrug:
