Thiis movie was good, but I want the Spiderman franchise to get darker a lá Batman in the Dark Knight

Just got done seeing it. Spidey 2 is still my fave but this is a very close second. Great cast, action was good but not too crazy. Tony was in there just the right amount.

No, the opening video diary is too extra. Spending one minute to establish the workings of the bad guy's organisation is not.

They are both extra. Video diary probably works more I'll have to go see it first.

Just saw it and it's definitely the best Spidey movie. I loved the Peter Parker high school stuff as much as the action.

The writing plus the mechanical eyes really made this feel more like a saturday morning cartoon instead of a big budget super hero flick.

Yeah it was like a live action Disney cartoon.

I might go see it again just to see if it gets better or wait for that "蜘蛛侠 Housecoming"

But the one thing I will say, the reason why this whole MCU thing is dope because later on down the line it's gonna tie in to more shyt and there's a bigger picture.

I didn't think about Oscorp buying the old Avengers building.

Also Flash Thompson being in it sets up some future symbiotic fukkery.

And he got 2 more years of high school, so we'll most likely see Dr. Connor.

C'mon son, we all watch movies. That's why the montage exists. You can't tell me they couldn't have done a minute long montage of showing his business expanding and his grip becoming more ruthless. Especially because it's literally all the characterization we get from the character until the third act.

Btw, this was probably the best "two villian" combo ive ever seen

Usually films try to shoehorn in two equal level supervillians rather than a single foe and a jobber type or flunkie. This works better. Realistically that could've worked for ASM2 (story wide) if say, goblin manipulated electro from the beginning, and electro was just a single act guy, or if in spiderman 3, sandman was used in the way shocker was.

I actually expect this to be the case with steppenwolf and darkseid in JL (i STILL believe he is the unrevealed foe in this film)

Was Vulture protecting Peter's identity because he wanted to kill him, himself or was he protecting him from Scorpio as a mutual trust kinda thing since Peter didn't give away his identity to his family?

well he did say he liked Peter and could see why Liz likes him but Peter really did him two
Solids. He saved Liz in Washington and saved Toomes himself when he tried jacking the salvage with the broken wings.

Just saw the movie. Probably somewhere between 7-7.5/10 to me.

Had a few issues as follows:

did Peter ever have an asian sidekick?! Unnecessary character that caused problems in the beginning. He ended up with two good moments

they kinda underplayed his powers a lot. Peter should have an unparalleled grip but he's sliding around the building? Dude has super strength but is struggling at shyt he could shrug off. I guess it was necessary for the payoff

Thought it was a solid film that shows how he fits in to the world where galactic and global shyt is going on. Some nice updates to a modern day Spiderman. Loved seeing so many actors from tv shows in the movie. Not so subtle shout out to the
