I feel you. Throughout the film I was wondering how they would implement him because my mind immediately thought of Vincent's amazing performance on Daredevil. I want him to stay Kingpin if they ever do decide to include him in this franchise.

Preach but I think thats part of the point of this movie. Which is exactly the arc I wanted them to do and I'm glad they did it. Him wanting to be an avenger is the same as him wanting to join the FF or the avengers the first time out. He gets close to it and then says "nah, I'm good"

And even in Amazing, you see all that shyt is starting to crumble down around him. This is why when they had the whole "hey i wanna be an avenger!" and "I'm nothing without the suit" stuff I didn't trip because it was clear if you know the character and the comics where it was going
