Apparently this doesn't get resolved by the end of the movie since it leads right into Multiverse of Madness
It doesn't seem like Engame Strange would do this unless he didn't realize how fukked up the Multiverse had become

Everything up until now has been predetermined by Kang. Now that they have free will we get to actually meet these characters for the first time

I’m not gonna lie, that aspect always bugged me. Now I’m enjoying these movies regardless since it’s accomplishing its mission by entertaining me. If I want to see Spidey kill shyt on his own, then I got the first two Raimi films I can always go back to and fulfill that high.

The character line-up in this one is stuff that my 8 year old self would dream for days of seeing.

I think Holland could’ve easily done a traditional solo cape flick but weve had 5 of those so far with spidey so I’m excited to see different shyt with this version of him.
