The people in my theater actually boo’d this scene and someone started a “we want Garfield” chant. It got so rowdy they had to stop the movie and threaten to end it there if there wasn’t peace.

Lol I was just telling my girl (who's 11 years younger than me) how long it used to take for stuff to come out on video. That shyt used to be torture. Seemed like it took years for ninja turtles to get on vhs

Yea cause theaters had exclusive for like 3 months then videostore got exclusive Rights two months after for a few months…THEN the shyt might get out to buy. I remember working at a videostore doing inventory and seeing the price of vhs tapes and dvds were like 100-150 per tape/disc back in 99. Think when dvds were becoming the norm you could get them the same time as a videostore and thats what started the decline iirc.
