Seems we have different definitions of what a "code" is. To me code is loyalty stuff, can you be trusted, are you a snake, etc. Like Scarface not wanting to kill kids is some "having a code" shyt.

It's not horrible writing, it's desperation due to losing 73 million and this demonstrates he is willing to go to any lengths to get his money back as anyone who lost 73 million.

Problem is just as teddy dad is vulnerable so is a lot of pieces of Franklin life including his girl, Leon and his mother, who is refusing to get herself protected under some delusional foolish pride of standing and not running. She like all our people who was in the lower 9th ward who was warned that a hurricane was coming and they somehow thought some spook god was going to protect them only to kill many of them and leave our people on roofs begging for their lives. I'm hoping that is not the outcome for sissy.

two other no code moments - killing his white boy, that nikka could got shipped out of state and not been a problem, Leon wanted out and Franklin told him he owns him and he's stuck, frank did the same when jerome wanted to have his speakershop full time, frank punked him back in. frank's code is always protect his money at all cost, anyone could get stepped on if they decided to not play his game. someone who cares about their people would see these dudes wasn't a threat and just wanted to get out

The whiteboy was a junkie and wouldve ratted. He had already told ppl about Franklin and his business when he wasnt pose to.

Not letting Leon leave was fukked up yes, but he still ended up letting Leon leave the following season.
Jerome stuff was fukked up, but still nothing going against a code.

Frank’s only code was preserve the operation by all means possible…a clear example of no code was killing Mel’s dad, mel his first love and the chick who hid his stash early on, then smiling in her face at his funeral and then going to torment her in Texas. That’s exactly the type of shyt V’s mom is calling out - he don’t love you like you think he do

Yeah Andre is a cop and it's unrealistic to expect him to back off so Franklin can poison the community with crack. On what planet is Mel supposed to accept that?
