He got kicked out of school cause he lost his financial aid he didnt drop out. So it aint like he just left school to move crack. He went back to South Central with nothing

He went from struggling to move a key he got fronted to becoming the biggest drug dealer in LA. Ray-Ray & Lenny, Karvel, Andre, that CAC cop from seasons 3 and 4, Manboy, Mexicans, CIA, etc. Franklin been through some shyt and still standing so far, you gotta respect his come up

There’s nothing to respect about him as a character, he has no code. That said, yes, it was intriguing to watch his evolution but like all crack dealers, there’s nothing to evolve to but being a POS.

Who changed Unc, Louie, Teddy, Leon, Government's lives? - Franklin. nikka was putting everybody on.
If Frank never got involved Louie would still be hoing and Jerome would still be moving small shyt.
Franklin has some major fukkups, but he does have a code and has loyalty until he sees/feels you fukk him over first.
There aint too many instances in the show where I felt Franklin fukked someone over on some snake shyt. It's usually him responding to others.
Can you give a few examples of Franklin fukking over various ppl that shows he has no code? Seems like this show been going on for a decade so I may be forgetting stuff. Especially S5 is a blur

Neither of them is correct, but one father was fully connected to the situation the other wasn’t…like I legit don’t get how some of y’all still rooting for Franklin. Not sure if it’s early character loyalty that’s hard to let go of but he’s a royally fukked individual


Only person worth rooting for is Wanda…even Leon is a dub being back in the game, and Cissy is full of shyt after living the high life off Franklin’s money and only becoming righteous after Alton got murk

Killing a CIA agents dad and threatening to murder his whole family when he cant even handle Jerome and his old lady is just horrible writing imo. So i def feel you.

Frank’s only code was preserve the operation by all means possible…a clear example of no code was killing Mel’s dad, mel his first love and the chick who hid his stash early on, then smiling in her face at his funeral and then going to torment her in Texas. This is a "story" of how the crack epidemic began. And he was the first real big timer..at his "age" when the show began...the time frame...shyt...they all evil...but it's Frank's story...I'm riding with him...(obv it isn't just his story..) some of the things I've been through in my life...hell yeah I want Franklin to win lol

He didn't give the crack or sell it to mel...he genuinely loved mel...what mel believes and what she can prove are two different things...she shot him with no proof...I'd torment her ass too...I kinda get y'all point...and again he was loyal to the operation...and saving everybody he's involved with...for all the people he did dirty how many did he help? No matter what? Definition of help is up for discussion...but he re acts...I understand it.. remember he's just a kid figuring this out as he goes ...he's the "first"... whatever bullshyt rules that are written now weren't in the late 80s early 90s

Overall great dialogue this season, I feel Jerome has given up and is trying to earn that casket at this point because he's so tired and understand it wont change but get worse. Deon called Louie a bytch and instead of Jerome putting hands on him, he pours him a drink and tried to reason with him and gets his feelings hurt, he's broken...

Which leads me to think once Louie is kidnapped by Kane, Jerome will have one last hurrah and is killed by kane and kane is killed by Franklin.

BUT, BUT.... a Plot twist could be that Teddy gets real diabolical and takes out Cissy and that infamous funeral scene we saw is Cissy. Anything is possible.

Also its interesting that the writers let it be known that Deon doesn't want to run it back, he wants Leon dead. I think he will retaliate but Kill Wanda/Einstein in the crossfire. And ol boy told Leon the real, you can't be MLK one sec and then fighting over drug territory the next.

some of yall worship that street shyt. living through the crack epidemic in Oakland with one of the biggest trap houses on my block - talking multi car police raids, back yard chases, people running in homes and hiding under houses...fukk outta here, i don't respect that shyt at all. and that shyt set black people back DECADES...

two other no code moments - killing his white boy, that nikka could got shipped out of state and not been a problem, Leon wanted out and Franklin told him he owns him and he's stuck, frank did the same when jerome wanted to have his speakershop full time, frank punked him back in. frank's code is always protect his money at all cost, anyone could get stepped on if they decided to not play his game. someone who cares about their people would see these dudes wasn't a threat and just wanted to get out
