Right!? I loved Franklin’s come up and it made for a compelling character, and its why people root for him, but looking at everything objectively, Franklin is a sociopathic, die hard capitalist who made shytty calls. He just so happened to have the right connect (Teddy) and team (Louie, Rome, Leon and Avi - access to guns no one else had yet) to bail him out. Had Frank just been getting dope from Avi or any average intermediary, he’s in jail and the show ends after season 2.

Frank never been a step ahead, that’s why he always made terrible decisions. Seasons one and two was just belle roomie mistakes, season 3 he got that pressure and ended up killing dre. Season 4 was all bad decisions with Manboy and scully/tanosi until the last episode. Season 5 was bad decisions as well, that’s how he lost all his business to Louie.

Yea I never really looked at Frank as one step ahead. To me he’s been a learn as you go dealer. Now Ghost was one step ahead.

Back when I was living in 9ja...my uncles would tell me how since the neighboring Ghanaian economy was HORRIFIC back in the early 90s, they would go ball out over there on the weekends. They would literally throw minimal counts of Naira (Nigerian dollar) to Ghanaians that would be like $5s to us, but amount as $30 to them.

Now, 30 years later, Ghana's economy is MUCH, MUCH more well off and stable than Nigeria's...while the NGN is now 300 to $1 while it was stronger than the fukking British pound back in the mid 80's.

They both are at fault I'm just not absolving Frank of things like most are doing and painting him as a victim. there are no heroes in this family issue. I also can see Louies point of view where she got shot once for Saints decision to get involved in the Skully/Manboy beef and then strike 2 was almost getting clipped again by Kane's goons for something Frank did. She basically is like fukk that, if I'm gonna get got for strike 3 its gonna be by something I did not Saint I do agree that Jerome could've had a bigger voice in not letting it get to this point for the fam

Singleton would have loved this episode IMO.

It's already been said, but they should have stayed in Ghana. You never seen them so happy in previous seasons. I know Leon felt like he had a responsibility, but ain't no Morgan Freeman speech gonna stop a war, a very personal one at that. They're all adults on demon time. They ain't trying to hear it. Any other time, maybe, but when Jerome tells you to fukk off and your own best friend warns you to head back home, HEAD BACK HOME....but we already know exactly how things are gonna end up.

I'm gonna be pissed big time if Droopy ends up riding off into the sunset with his loony bytch after all the mayhem he's caused.

Art intimidating life. All the white people involved in the Iran/Contra Affair did no prison time, got pardons, etc while black people were devastated by crack and the ensuring violence. Also the Nicaraguans went through hell because the Affair fueled US involvement in it.

For what its worth, I'm still not 100% sure that Franklin's pops is really dead
