Yep, to being a drug addict too. If you were very successful, lost it all, lost everyone you cared about, you cant be an alcoholic or addict. It's impossible to be oneThere’s prereqs to being an alcoholic now?
But she reacted when they said “nah she not here”. Like she was sure they were going to give her up and that makes me think it’s because she never told them who she really was.Nah, the fear was that the DEA was still on her and chased her to whatever state she was in. The couple likely knew she was a fugitive, the way they talked about those types coming thru, but it’s like the Underground Railroad, they ain’t giving up no runaways, it especially helped that one was a white woman - if you rewatch, they ignore that she said her and the black guy owned the spot. Best way to sell a story to the authorities - white women
Right, that's how it read to me. She been working with them for a while and was a good trustworthy person to them, so they covered for herBut she reacted when they said “nah she not here”. Like she was sure they were going to give her up and that makes me think it’s because she never told them who she really was.
They could've come to that conclusion (she was on the run) without her actually telling them. But she reacted when they said “nah she not here”. Like she was sure they were going to give her up and that makes me think it’s because she never told them who she really was.
I also think ppl are overestimating Franklin's "hustling" and smarts

I get what you saying, but Franklin also had Louie/Rome/Teddy/Avi/Leon guiding him. A lot of his shyt was right place right time too, like finding the recipe to the rock iirc. I feel like if he was a true hustler, he wouldve handled the 73M loss better. Yes he was down 73M, but he still had millions in real estate he couldve sold. If them hood properties was worth 800k, that spring street property was worth 2M at least. Hell it mightve been 5M iirc. I believe that was the property Frank and V tried to get Louie/Rome to go in on in like S3/4 and they asked them for 5M to be apart of it. So he had assets of 2-6M but couldnt get over losing the 73M?That's a negative. He was a teenager that had access to elite resources and information, which was a huge benefit. With that being said, he still had a day to day operation that he ran which he was 100 percent accountable for and built a multi million dollar empire worth 10s of millions. Put any other teenager or young person in a similar situation and 9 out of 10 would fail. It's all hollywood story telling, but at the end of the day that street shyt(especially back then) wasn't as easy you think.

Same difference to Louie in that moment though. She wasn’t hiding in a way that said “let’s see if these people keep their word and cover for me.” She was damn near hyperventilating like she knew she was about to go to jail. They could've come to that conclusion (she was on the run) without her actually telling them.
Seriously. I thought Franklin was pulling up on her went he went to see peaches.Parissa turned out be a pretty useless character. Didn't even show up in the finale.
Her chapter was finished. She was done with teddy.Parissa turned out be a pretty useless character. Didn't even show up in the finale.
I didn't even think about that. She might not have known the password but she would've been missing some digits and maybe an eyeball before I believed she didn't know anything.Seriously. I thought Franklin was pulling up on her went he went to see peaches.
