He never said he shot him in the apartment. He also could have gotten Anton to go with him willingly if he told him he would kill Sissy too if he doesn't come with him.

Cissy never believed Teddy. She just wanted to get closure on what exactly happened to Alton and knew Teddy never saw her as a threat. She also knew that once he felt he was safe, he would go back to dismissing her and when he did by giving her the answer she put him down. As for the timing of it, if her final remaining family member is gonna be petty enough to throw her out of his life for the money then she was gonna be petty enough to stop him from getting it.

Cause it was. I’d say the majority of this season get like “old Snowfall” compared to the sham of a season that was 5. I still can’t believe some of the stuff that happened last season. A damn tiger running around. That season was like the last season of New York Undercover.

In all likelihood, John Singleton already told them how it was ending so it was easier getting everything in place for the final act, but for seasons 4 and 5 they had to conjure up whatever bullshyt they could to keep things moving.
