It's a shame that we only got one Easy Rawlins movie, but a full series based on Easy & Mouse would be so good. They could even base each season on a different book, from Devil In A Blue Dress all the way up to Little Green.

He did that shyt because he cared about his "Unc" & Louie on some level, but he doesn't want to give Louie the satisfaction of knowing that he still harbors some familial feelings for her.

He's mad at her. He don't want her thinking he cares about her, even if it would be in his best interest to do so.
