Yea the drug game made their lives so much more worse that they’re now on a honeymoon, in a pimp suite, plotting on how to go even deeper in drug game and take over.

Jerome sis told them to get out, go legal and enjoy them riches. Naw they want that power now so nephew ain’t shyt to them anymore.

There's more to life than money, their family is destroyed and any of them could be dead by the end of next season

Yes so it's not far fetched that the next season is in 1988
But honestly I think the producers either didn't know when Straight Outta Compton came out or they just didn't care
The showrunner said in an interview they knew, they accepted it would be the only time they used a song not released yet in the show timeline

How long was reed going to business with Franklin?
Him getting shot was the last straw
Andre knew about Reed
Alton knew about Reed
Rob knew about Reed
Peaches knew about Reed
Cissy knows about him
Franklin been fukking up since forever
The writers made him to be a borderline imbecile
I hate to say it a lot of the Louie hate is rooted in misogyny :scust:
They legit calling her ugly in a Snowfall Facebook group
I feel like if she had real motives to do Franklin dirty she wouldn’t get the hate she does. Franklin is the fan favorite and main character so of course she going to get hate regardless. But they made her shady, power hungry selfish and drunk of clout.

Franklin, Teddy, and Louie are all vile

Teddy's the worst though because he's in a position of power and made a 19 year old sell massive amounts of drugs to fund an illegal war, now all of their lives are worse off

Teddy is the worst by a widdddeeeee margin. I don’t know if it’s him being a sociopath, bad writing or a mixture of both, but we learned this episode that things had wound down so much in Central America that he had little use for a $73M cash come up. But he started all this friction upping the price of the brick as if every dollar was desperately needed every dollar. The greatest advantage to their operation was they had a way to get their pure dope cheaper than the opposition, if he simply continued undercut the market Franklin could have continued to feed the streets with no urge for his customers to go to the Colombians.

Beyond that, it’s clear since he had no use for that $73M in Nicaragua that he wasn’t working towards some endgame with Franklin. Unless this is his planned end game. He did start the financial tracing of Franklin’s accounts pretty early in this season. Without that, he wouldn’t have been able to wipe Saint out in a matter of hours.

Imo Teddy was going to do Franklin dirty no matter what when their relationship wasn’t no longer needed. He even told the Mexican DEA agent in the earlier seasons once my business with him is done you can have his ass. That money he’s using to buy his way back to the CIA so it’s purely for selfish reasons and not for the cause. So yeah I agree Teddy is easily the worst.

Yea that’s a major theme of the show. You can bicker about Franklin should’ve done this, Louie should’ve done that, Franklin was foul for this, Louie was foul for that but the reality is none of it really matters. Game was rigged. No matter what they did, the L was written. Those foul decisions were made with direct pressure from Teddy (the government) or within an environment created by him/them.

Yeah and his presence made them feel like they could never leave the game even though they had more than enough money to.
I kinda don't think Franklin would have left the game even if he could though, he's addicted to making money. But if Teddy didn't kidnap him, he likely would never became a monster

I really like that they made Franklin go unhinged after losing the $73M. Not only is it the money (I see brehs converting that to 2022 dollars), that’s everything he worked and sacrificed for. He lost what he thought was the love of his life, 2 of his closest friends, and his father…to now be reduced to nothing being in fukking debt had to ENRAGE him. He’s gotta go full scorched earth!

I'm gonna be pissed if Teddy walks off into the sunset at the end of next season. :francis:
he will, the first rule of american film/movies paid for by the big companies, they are all vetted by gov't agencies so the stories always reinforce the american gov't as invincible so their proxy teddy, will also be that- invincible. bet on it.

he aint walkin off into no sunset...but the sun def gon set on that bytch nikka for sure. Once the Iran-Contra scandal gets made public and the CIA gets to cleaning house, some random agent gonna make sure he takes all the secrets to the grave. If the KGB or Oso dont get to him first.

He'll probably get away with it though :sadcam:

Between the tiger episodes and the wedding episode, I was ready to chuck this whole season in the trash

But gotdamn they redeemed themselves the last episode and a half.

Also Franklin on his demon shyt with Phil Collins in the background was a god-tier decision whoever made it. Had the :banderas: the entire time
