I aint want to be the one to point this out as I already know how brehs would come at me...but literally, if this were Leon, people would call out the "disloyalty" but completely understand him making a power move, but it's a woman so now it's a "greedy bytch who think she's smart".

This is the kind of blind spot that has women talking big talk...and getting the men they want to shelter behind killed. How smart Louie is or not is irrelevant. 95%+ of women ain't built to carry that kinda weight, nor make the moves necessary for the leadership demanded for it. Diamond and Dallas will arm up and go put in work, and even they're smart enough to know where they are in the food chain because there's no way they'd go head-up-all-out against a Skully or Kane.

You can try to paint it as whatever gender issue you want to make it, but the skepticism exists for a reason. It's one of leadership, not gender.

Louie not wanting to work for her own nephew after all the trouble that brought isn't foul and Franklin could have kept working with Teddy if he wanted to

She's vile for other reasons but not wanting to work for Franklin is completely understandable, he was willing to kill her if she didn't comply with his orders

I don't think anybody on here has a problem with that, the issue is she f*cked over family to do it. She could have told Franklin, "Look, we need to do our own thing. We're going to the Colombians." and if he balked he would've been in the wrong. Instead she went behind his back to HIS connect and cut him out.:mjtf: Foul shyt.:scust:

The last couple of episodes made Franklin seem too weak. As soon as he lost the plug then he was nothing. And then that conversation with Louie was just cringe and embarrassing for him. I really didn't know what to think. Franklin has always been my favorite character of the show but I didn't like the way he looked in the last two episodes.

I hope he bounces back in the last season.

Cool season 8/10, making Teddy the ultimate bad guy was genius from where the show first started. It seemed like they were trying to make him sympathetic the first couple of seasons but I'm glad they are showing in the end he is nobody's friend. And I also like he was kinda cast against type. The guy still isn't that good of an actor but I see why he was cast.
I wonder if they just wrote Leon and Wanda off the show?
I knew this season would end with Franklin losing a lot of money. I just thought his grifter baby momma would be the one to do it. I wonder who she called at the end of the episode?
Disappointed Unc is letting Louie get them wrapped up in all types of deadly drama. He should have been put his foot down.
The ending of the last 2 eps with It’s Like That and Straight out of Compton were gangsta. :banderas:The music they used was a big appeal to me when the show first started and I was missing it. Glad they finished strong with it.
