First of all this was and A+ season of television. Shyt had everything, scenes that made you laugh, cry, feel proud as well as disgusted and definitely made you think.
  • Got to concede Kev is dead I guess. But WTF? No on screen death, no one talking about his funeral. But a tombstone does signify a funeral/burial occurred and people saw him dead. I still think there is a small chance he is alive but it is not likely. I was wrong.
  • Strange how they ended the Lucia/Gustavo storyline. I guess Gustavo's dead and Lucia is going to move to a new area. Are they written off the show? I wonder. lol if their entire storyline was just to introduce the DEA agent character.
  • I need more background on how Franklin figured out Reed is a government agent? Where was he when he was holding newspaper and magazine clippings about the Nicaragua efforts? Would that stuff even be published yet?
  • I really thought Reed was gonna kill the DEA agent. He definitely doesn't need her around.
  • Unc, Auntie and Leon are the team and it's a strong one. I love it! Can't wait for the hardbody activities they get into next season.
  • Alton smiling at Franklin on some "How you doing?" Shyt was hilarious. It's like the subtext is, "I'm doing great, back in your mother's loving arms and juicy box." :mjlit: I would have thrown a fit to Franklin. lol

Yeah I am curious if Gustavo is dead and if its the end of their story too,not sure how good her name will be out there after the snitching anyway in LA. But then again I guess the dude who stabbed Oso didn't think she was an informant,he thought she just sent a hit I believe. They may have decided Franklins storyline was the one people liked the most,so decided to just focus on that. That was pretty much the unanimous thinking after Season 1,that the white boy and mexicans were slowing the pace down. But I actually started to like Lucia and Oso and their storyline this season.
Also I don't like the fact that Franklin knows he is working for the government,I think it works better for the storyline if he doesn't realize what he is doing, personally.

Yeah, I kinda feel you on that about Franklin knowing who Reed is. I don't see the purpose and it kinda kills the realness of the show.

Didn’t Freeway Rick know he was working for the government? I think it brings more realism to the show that he’s not unaware of what’s going on and can connect dots. I mean dude went to an Ivy League school. He’s not dumb.

All of this. Did people forget Franklin said he was government when Reed kidnapped him? He left it alone but kept an open mind towards it. Locked up on a Murder One charge with bail denied and the primary witness is DEA? You’re finished. Good night. Hold up, the DEA agent recants her statement and I’m free to go with the charges dropped. This makes sense to anyone? Franklin with his smarts putting 2 and 2 together is one of the most realistic moments of the show. Reed has some serious pull that could only come from the government and realistically, all of them including Avi works for the government.

This happened all of the time that remained secret for years but I’ve never seen a happy ending for anyone. Watch “American Made” with Tom Cruise. It was a good movie.

First off I asked for the fukked up side of the game in this show and I got it :picard:

Second for the brehs wondering if the gangs were big in L. A. Yet... Yes they were already huge. If you were a a street cat there was a saying " is you a slanger or a banger?" at this point the gangs are mostly jackboys/muscle.

Last this shyt is the best show on TV :blessed:

Y'all missed the part where he gave 80K to the Israeli and they talked. He mentions it in narration before the end of the episode.

it's the best show i've seen since game of thrones last season.

but anyone else feel a bit uncomfortable with how they've straight jacked freeway rick's story though?

I was thinking this while watching the finale. it's a little vulgar
Singleton said its loosely based off freeway. But I still love it for being told to those who might not know about the crack era beginnings

Show easily makes you forget how young Franklin is and how in over his head he probably is until an episode like this. But, it seems like his 3rd eye is open now, so we can proceed with him really being ready for the crown now. :youngsabo:. It's also crazy that although da boy Saint is at the forefront of this whole drug war that will eventually fukk up the black community like Hurricane Pookie, it still makes you sympathetic to him being sort of a victim of circumstance.

*Shout out to Duc C :myman:

* Glad to see da boy Leon didn't take that Kev shyt personal for too long. Frank gon need that nikka. He A1. :win:

* Got damn, Auntie was lookin' fine as fukk when she went to go meet with Reed!

I could be wrong, but when Franklin and Leon got kidnapped, he didn’t figure out Reed was working with the govt... he found out he was the connect. Franklin wanted to bypass Avi and get product directly from Reed.

Not sure what direction they will go next season with the story. Franklin now knows that Reed is working with the government. He’s probably thinking that if it was that easy to get away with a 187 murder charge, then he may be able to get away with a whole bunch of other shyt and basically be protected/untouched and make a shytload of bread while selling product. I think they both know that they need each other for things to work.

Franklin is a smart young man who knows how to adapt to situations.

That much about him was understood in the first season so it's no surprise that even for the lil bit of time he was in jail he adapted.

He told his momma he was giving up this lifestyle but he just beat a murder charge.........that last shred of innocence in him is gone :mjcry:

You heard him say they taking down anyone who interrupts his business regardless of who it is.

He really don't give a fukk now :mjcry:
I swear if they don't renew this shyt for another season fukk FX:pacspit:
