And do what? RAW has plenty more main eventers and mid carders than can go to the ME if needed. SmackDown needs more vets to fill the roster hence AJ, Cena and Orton are all there.

SD needs Asuka when she's ready and I don't think they will put both her and Shinsuke on the same show.

So going with that logic, I'm guessing Raw gets Shinsuke and SD will get Joe and Asuka

SmackDown Ratings Report (9/13/16): Neck And Neck With RAW

The SmackDown ratings are in for this week, and the news is good. For the first time since the brand split back in July, WWE’s two weekly cable shows are basically tied as far as average viewers go. This week’s episode of SmackDown Live drew 2.658 million viewers. That is up from last week where the blue brand drew 2.454 million. The show drew a 1.86 cable rating.

But, the big news is that SmackDown and RAW had roughly the same average audience this week. RAW averaged 2.69 million this week with a 1.88 cable rating, so WWE’s flagship show and Tuesday night’s show were neck and neck.

They still treat RAW like the flagship unfortunately, they added Bayley and 6 cruiserweights and SD has gotten no one from NXT or CWC since.
