I love that SmackDown is trying to bring kayfabe back with a mix of reality. MVP really had the 10 year old me thinking he was the highest paid wrestler on SD :wow:

WWE Smackdown Live viewership – Smackdown bombs despite big main event – Pro Wrestling Dot Net

Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.292 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 2.658 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: WWE advertised John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose, and The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship on Raw, yet the show still dropped significantly. We hope to have the actual rating later today or on Thursday morning.

SmackDown Live finished number six overall on cable television in prime time on Tuesday evening, however they finished number one in the coveted 18-49 demographic for the second week in a row.

people can't watch tv every night of the week. Show was stacked. Better than Raw this week, but I don't check Smackdown weekly.

WWE Smackdown Live viewership: Did Smackdown top the low Raw viewership? – Pro Wrestling Dot Net

Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.340 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 2.292 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: Monday’s Raw accumulated 2.478 million viewers while opposed by the U.S. Presidential debate. So even with AJ Styles defending the title against Dean Ambrose in the main event, Smackdown was unable to top Raw’s lower number. We hope to have the actual rating later today or on Thursday morning.

I think it's because people are scared of Cena coming back to squash AJ so he can break that record.

Oh and Bray and KKKlandy stinking up the joint didn't help...

How Was This Week's WWE SmackDown Viewership With The Final Hype For No Mercy? - WrestlingInc.com

Last night's live WWE SmackDown, featuring the final hype for Sunday's No Mercy pay-per-view with John Cena, Dean Ambrose and WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose in the main event segment, drew 2.316 million viewers. This is down a bit from last week's show, which drew 2.340 million viewers.

SmackDown was #9 for the night in viewership, behind the Vice Presidential debate with accompanying coverage and the MLB, and #7 in the 18-49 demographic after three weeks at #1.
In comparison, Monday's RAW averaged 2.797 million viewers.

Smackdown was trash for the most part this week.:mjlol:

Raw easily had the better show.:salute:

:heh: Raw was trash for the most part this week too. Some botch filled women's main event with the same exact result we saw a few weeks ago despite the comms saying she'd "achieved her dream" doesn't take away from the rest of the show, which was terrible.

SD wasn't too good, but it had some good segments and a couple of decent matches, and it was shorter so it flew by quicker.

SD easily won this week, which it does almost every week tbh.
