Happy Friday Wimmenz!! Jesus be a midol.

I never get period cramps but fatigue and sore breasts are always my number 1 symptoms. I could sleep for 32 hours ad still wake up tired. My already heavy breast feel like two bricks sitting 'pon my chest and it's raining *sigh*

-I hate to see men bytching about being lonely and not having a woman to cuddle with in the rain. Man up 300 times, my nikka.

-I'm going to a mall tomorrow...well it's like an outlet mall but it's huge. The new casino is also very close to this mall so it's always 50 billion people there. I don't want to go but my daughter needs clothes for warm weather and I'd rather go there where I have at least 10 children's clothing stores to choose from rather than having to travel from mall to mall to find what I want.

-I need an oil change

My dude got a great paying contract job that he decided to accept, BUT it is all the way over in Norfolk, VA. He wants to live in Virginia Beach though. He moves in less than 2 weeks - right before my bday :(

Funemployment is about to be over and long distance relationship is about to start for about 12 months. Anything ya'll can tell me about visiting Virginia Beach/Norfolk? What would it be like for a middle class, 30 year old black man? What is the shopping like? I love DC and see that it is a 3 hour drive, but from the little I've googled, I'm not crazy about this southern part of Virginia.

:heh: there's no such thing as a 'successful' long distance relationship. Either come to terms with that L right now or move with dude.

We are about to celebrate our 9 year anniversary this fall, we did long distance for 4 years before and I enjoyed it. I'm not moving for a temporary gig that has an expiration date, I have a good paying career here (more than him) and I have to take care of his fam here. He wants me to visit monthly though, and I need ideas for fun things to do up there besides driving to DC. The beach looks :scusthov:

I appreciate the response. I feel like VA beach is overpriced too, and I read about the traffic. His friends told him that Norfolk (where the job is) crime rates are too high and he is worried about his car being broken into so he is looking in other areas. There's gotta be a better option he can stay within Norfolk, right?

oops my bad. typo, I meant long distance :p:

and I stand by that. :leostare:

It wasn't the typo that I was talking about, it was the ridiculousness that NO long distance relationship can be successful. You can stand by whatever you want, but I'm still going to need you to have a seat thinking that.

Myself. fukk 12(1)!
I've known a few people that have had successful long-distance relationships (the couples are all married now).

It all depends on the individuals involved; if they want to make it work, they will :manny:
