But I had to take a break hair felt like it was thinning so if I try again it'll be crotchet so it won't be so harmful to my real hair. Finding someone qualified to do it is the problem.
I recently took out short jumbo crochet Senegalese twists, and I agree that I was limited to styling because of the length and size of the twists.
Since it would be your first time, I would suggest asking to get the perimeter of your hair individually crocheted so you'll be able to be more flexible with styling.
How often are you braiding your hair? I usually take a 2-3 month break between protective styles.

At that time I did December, February, April...that was my fault.
I never in life had my hair braided so much. I two strand twist my natural hair when I have nothing better to do with it.
my hair has been in 2 stranded twists for the past 2 years. I'm too lazy to do my hair any other way.
I swear, everytime I go to my parent's house to watch a tv show with my mom (power, unsung, queen sugar etc) my niece and nephew decide at that moment to be loud AF.

Also the girl in the first pic... How do you want that? the mic is in the way. If I cut out the mic, the hair on that side may look funny.
