Also, I'm officially signed up to drive Uber, but I haven't driven yet. They keep calling and emailing me. I'm not sure if I really want to drive. I bough Uber was a tax free thing, but I got something saying during tax time they'll send a 1099-K

But yeah, it doesn't seem worth it.
I think most of the local rides are about $7, and uber takes 30% of that.
But I wonder, how would that be taxed? Before or after uber takes their fee.
