sooo my family is falling apart right now.
don't really like posting personal shyt on here but i need to get it out,i have no one/else where to
last night my dad was sleeping and his phone got a notification, my mom looked at it because she figured it was my dads brother, my uncle letting us know he was coming over because he's supposed to move in
it was a text from some women saying "had a great time on your boat, my back is still hurting" with flirty emojis
my dad has a boat, is always going "fishing"
my parents have been together since my mom was 15, she is in her mid 50s now and they've been married for over 30 years. threw it all away for some casual fling.
he denied it until my mom forced him out of the house. he really tried that "but i have no where to go" line. i'm disgusted.
to top it off, today he accidentally butt dials me while talking to a coworker aboot cheating on my mom
i am a wreck. i'm disappointed, hurt, pissed. so many times i've tried to bond more with my dad and our relationship has gotten better over the years but this summer he has declined every time i've gone fishing and now i know it's because he was fukking whores on his boat.

they are getting divorced. my mom already sold off all her rings, is kicking him off her car insurance, phone, house is in her name. his credit is shot because he stopped paying mortgage on our last house.
my dad crashed his car two weeks ago and he had a 1500 deductible..and the past few months have bad for my parents in terms of bills, they have emptied out their savings trying to catch up, so this happens right before they have to pay their mortgage so my mom was in the process of taking out money out of her 401k to catch up + pay for his car. shes taken money out of her 401k countless times to pay for his fukk ups. when he had to get a permanent bridge due to work related injury, when he was unemployed due to injury, he works full time and makes more money than her but summer and spring is bad for the type of work he does so he loses a lot of hours + pay.
my mom is by no means perfect but this women has held him down for decades. has done and would do anything for him. forgave him and still loved him unconditionally through out all the bullshyt
it hurts to see my mom so upset but apart of her says she's relieved, i feel some relief.
as much as it hurts, though. he's still my dad. i just don't get it. how can someone be so selfish
Sounds to me your mom is the primary breadwinner of the family with better job securtiy.
my dad is, he's had his job longer as well but he's an idiot and gets into lots of car accidents driving like a moron, has 2 cars (well one now, his truck just hit the shytter) and a boat and is in tons of debt from dipping out out on that mortgage and credit cards.
my moms 401k just gets them out of a lot of holes lol she works for mass mutual and gets tons of paid holidays, vacation time, great benefits where as my dad makes more money but not as many benefits
anyways sorry for all the personal shyt. thank god i'm going back to therapy tomorrow.

Lied to my doctor and told him I was sexually active when he asked me why I wanted birth control pills. Told him I wanted to be "safer" when really I just want the pills to help me gain weight and to maintain clear skin since the only time I break out is on my period and even when they clear up in two days I have hyperpigmantation.
He asked if I was married or engaged and I answered no to both. Then he started talking to me like I been outchea hoin
Told me to use a lot of condoms because bcp won't prevent herpes
I was like "you right"
He has it set up for mail delivery for every three months for a year. I can't imagine how much money that is but I'm paying 0

although:
1 that's the truth &
2 I only see female gynos
I don't know much about bcp so I went with the most likely excuse. Plus, since I can get all my medication they provide for free I didn't want to mess up my chances by saying I only wanted it for clearer skin. It worked out in the end.
