this isnt 2006 anymore. People who want an easy to use, plug and play, budget gaming service buy consoles. Thats why exclusives for PS5 dont really sell well in comparison to the games people actually want to play (Diablo, Call of Duty, NBA 2k)
Gta6 is an exclusive? Why is this included in your post? You'll be playing GTA6 at 30 FPS, while real gamers will be playing it at 150+ fps
PS5 Pro is upscaling from 640p. A 4060 for sure will play games at 640p and upscale them to whatever you want them to.
The CPU in the pro is weak, and the reason the games that don’t hit 60fps on PS5 also won’t hit 60fps on the Pro.
You can build a PC that will hit 60fps on those games and match whatever the Pro’s output resolution is for games with a 4060 easily.

Sony is preying on stupid consumers with this, but majority of people buying it will just be playing Fortnite, Apex Legends, Call of Duty and NBA 2k no different than they would on a PS5 No one is paying $800 for PS5 Pro to play God of War Ragnarok, at the same resolution and FPS as a PS5 in 2024
