Common sense but let me build my cereal box and milk crate.
its almost no way you will straight up get equivalent power to a 4070. then you have to also compare cpu etc.
These types of convos are meaningless because a console has lots of wizardy and corner cuts to make their shyt look good, on console. You can take solace in the fact if you do go pc you won't have to upgrade for a console gen if you get a higher end card. but even then that would be to play shyt at ultra which few pc dudes are even doing.

IDK why these dudes acting so daft. I think the og ps5 is equivalent to a 2070-80 and the pro is going to be twice as powerful?

Yeah, at $700 the PS5 Pro is expensive for a console, but I spent more than double that on my GPU alone

ps5 pro not even equivalent to a 2070-2080... 2070 Super can play apex legends at 200 fps on ultra settings, diablo 4 at 300-400 fps.
PS5 pro wont hit those numbers.
I'll take the L on that I thought it was stronger, the CPU may be holding shyt back too.
But also I'm curious what the DF dude was going off of then. thats a huge gap in gpus

This isn't the full story either and I say this as a PC gamer primarily. With a 2070 u can adjust settings n shyt like that to hit those numbers. Trying to use PS5 settings and hit those numbers is going to be a stretch to say the least.
