Yeah he’s so bad. I can see what they were going for with each character having different styles but some characters are so far beyond the others. Like Tifa and Yuffie are literally better at everything

Only character that can block attacks while casting spells or using some of his abilities when riding the moogle.
The moogle can draw aggro from enemies and keep your party safe.
He can randomly buff or debuff if you build up the moogle meter.
On top of that, he’s the only entity in the game that can raise the party’s critical rate and cast Berserk on them, making for some insane damage potential. No other character or materia can do that.
People don’t bother tryna learn him cause he’s difficult, but when handled right, he brings a lot to the table.

That Moogle is a damn near cheatcode.
His final ability from his folio, Lucky Slots, is also some heat when you get the timing right and he’s safe to do so.
You can actually pause the game while the slots are moving, making it easier to get what you want.
The outcomes are either:
1. All crowns - AOE damage across the battlefield
2. All bars - Massive stagger damage to all enemies
3. All hearts - Resist and Reraise for the whole party
4. All stars - Party’s limit level increases by 1 and 35% limit gauge fill.
Just an insane amount of utility that cat brings.
It’s like they saw how hated he was in the original game and said “All right, fukk it, we’re gonna give the lil cat a whole bunch of shyt to break the game open”.

That scene of Barret and Dyne is so powerfulbut however they changed it from the orginal so I like both versions, but should have stuck with original imo. The OG version hit harder, but completely understand why they changed it for Rebirth. It was still dark asf in both versions, but way darker in OG.

this was low key one of the best announcements at the Game Awards.. release date a month away, Steam/EGS launch. The PC specs are hella decent. AND they're doing a launch discount that's essentially what the first major sale price was for the first game. Easy day one cop for me.
