I actually recommend Seagate SSHD for consoles.



It's not important data, game saves are in the cloud as well.

Yeah, just grab the 2TB desktop model which has a 7200 RPM spinner, throw it into a 3.0 enclosure and you are good to go.

$100 for a 2TB with that kind of boost in gaming is insane. Both have USB 3.0.

Regular PS4 I think has SATA II, which is stupid and probably why we see the Seagate internal getting so close to a SATA III SSD.
