Courtney Kemp is so white identified she was going to make sure Tasha’s character was hated down the very last scene. She had her looking basic throughout the show. Her character was always dogged out. She made ANGELA into the hope and dream of the slave. You can tell they had a vendetta against the BW character early on and BM ate it up. I'm really shocked they didn't have some type of semi-redemption arc for her if she was going to survive til the very end.

They could have easily had him make it/go ahead into politics and etc/creating an entire new story arc. Most of these writers are so scared to change it up, ending up dead or in jail is cliche/played. An imagination has no limits.
