I guess he thought the Dre plan worked as he genuinely seemed surprised that Tasha got arrested for it. He thought they would help put him in jail and not actually kill him.

I get the whole different perspective episodes and the concept, but Tasha and Tommy's scene where he pulls the gun on her is totally different than it was the first time around. I don't mind words changing here and there but Tasha was straight on her knees on the floor lol.

The Tariq/Saxe thing opens up a plothole in logic as he wasn’t the only person who saw him there that night, but I guess the writers overlooked it.
