Also, this episode would have been the perfect opportunity for Blanca to blow Saxe’s cover that she saw him at Truth the night of the shooting. Or did the writers completely forget that she did?

But it's poor writing to even be that situation in the first place seeing that he wasn't the only person to see him there. Blanca literally let Saxe shame and one up her again eventhough she had a major trump card against him.
