The good: That hook is catchy, you've got some good ad-libs, the bass line works well, your voice is cool
Needs work/Not as strong/not sugar coated: I'm not the biggest fan of the beat's high frequency jingles, I think it's like an alien arp or something but it's kinda distracting, which brings me to what I think is the number one thing I noticed but am not for sure, but the way the vocals are EQ'd... I am concentrating on the lyrics, but they seem just a little muddled. They might be recorded fine, but it's either that thye need some compression or they need to have an EQ cut out of the beat... It's not as bad as I just explained by any means, but it's something that stood out to me (it made the verses sound a little slurred even tho I don't think the acapella sounds like that, its like they are dipping under for a second in the instrumental ocean).

I also wasn't the biggest fan of the beat as it didn't seem to smack, but that's a preference thing. I go for a much slower tempo.. And i'm heavily influenced by Currensy boom bap and dusty ass mad lib style lofi tracks. occationally a trap song here or there. I like the sounds you're making tho, if you wanna collab or do a random project I'd be interested in that.

Before the crash earlier I was quoting you to say you got some nice clear mixes breh and your drum work is great. The sample was also done well and I like when the synths came in.

Sounds right. Not necessarily 1000% hornish but it doesn't fukk up the groove. All my horns sound like they're underwater. Since my engineering skills are limited to stop, record, and play and at one point I couldl punch in, I have no idea how to fix that so I have the carmelo BRB imagining since no decent horn patches face a lot of the times with my joints. But your whole jam was solid. Good to finally hear your work.

I fool with the concept. It seems like you might benefit from a vocal coach while you're spitting like you see Puff uses (not comparing you to Puff as an MC many MC's use them) I just remember seeing his in a video lately) even if it's just a homie in the control room or next to you in the booth to tell you what energy is appropriate when, which words to annunciate and when to let your nuts hang pause on the mic. But it's a solid joint.
