The 215
I loved Cheltenham mall in the 90's. The arcade (Michael Jackson game anyone), movies, and the Ninja Turtle game that was around the corner near the city blue. I used to do damage with Mikey!!! I agree with a few changes esp to downtown where it looks like a big Ave around where the gallery is at Philly could be seriously poppin. I feel like the whole downtown should have more quality stores like how 15-19 walnut does.

you know the name cause I'm about to go to either Good Dog Bar or Fox and Hound in a half when I'm my lunch break :whew:

:salute:

I like Good Dog. Only time I'm really in F&H is March Madness kickoff :drunk:

Jose Pistola's, across from F&H is good too, bangin mexican food :wow:

I have a go to spot myself, Wrap Shack on 18th st. Good beers on tap and good wraps. Plus the bartendars are cute and friendly

Man I just realized I am so far removed from my youth...back in the day...circa 1992...Cheltenham Mall and that arcade next to the movies was the spot back on Fridays and Saturdays.

The phat asses :lawd: ....the arcade with everyone gettin it on in Street Fighter II and NBA Jam :lawd: ...and using the same movie stub on Friday to get into the same movie on Saturday :lawd: :myman:

:gladbron: Yo, I used to go to that arcade when I was younger. I never had money to play...I used to just watch other people play. The Arcade and the Movies is shut down though. Just a blank wall is there that covers up the entrances. :wow:

For anybody looking for a good place to eat Puerto Rican food check out Freddies and Tony's restaurant on 2nd and Allegheny BEST puerto Rican food in the city. Whenever my mom wouldnt cook it for us we ate there. It's in the hood in puertoricanland but dont be afraid to go in there.. they know english :troll:

I used to live in West Oak Lane too. That's crazy. :ooh:

I'm coming back next weekend tho. :youngsabo: All hotels booked up for the marathon :aicmon:

Last couple years I've been coming back for the Relays and to see folks. Probably wont do it this year. Gotta figure out another time to come thru.

Tony Lukes :ooh::ohlawd:

I had them cheesesteak rolls they're servin' now... :obama:

honestly if im on south street id stop at ishkabibbles before Jims :yeshrug:

Yup.

Actually, there's spots in Jersey better than BOTH of them....namely, Pat's Pizzeria and Penn Pizza Place.

We all know there aint nothing like a Philly soft pretzel....

but what yall know about pizza pretzels :youngsabo:

What ch'all know about the cheesesteak pretzels at Cowtown? :bryan:

Warmdaddys is good they have jaz there too some nights

....now THAT is my spot!

I'm mad that the jazz station we used to have went off the air (it used to be where 97.5 The Fanatic is now on the dial).....they used to have Thursday Happy Hours at Warmdaddys and they would serve WHOLE MEALS....like, my fam came from outta town and we went there, these nikkas had mac and cheese, stuffing, chicken breast....not the typical shyt you'd expect to find at a happy hour buffet. :smugbiden:
