Official Ozark Season 4 - (Part 2/Series Finale/April 29th)

Me personally, I liked Season 4 way more than Season 3. Both could of used improvements. Season 4a i thought was fine. Season 4b started off wack but picked up steam after 2nd episode.

season 1-2 were phenomenal television though.

i can live with the ending. I look at it more, that Jona is just over everything and it was close to being back to normal and he not gonna let anyone get in the way of that

only thing I dont get about the ending is:

if Ruth is majority owner of the casino, she got the fbi deal to launder the cartel money

but since narvarro sister killed her, what happens to that? No one can wash the cartel money now, and the fbi has no use for the cartel if they cant seize money that Ruth was supposed to update them about, and the whole point of the sister taking over the cartel was she wanted to be under the radar… but she effectively just killed the fbi deal

Really hate how some of the characters stories ended.

Marty never getting out that toxic relationship and ending up the biggest cuck I have ever seen.

Wendy, the woat woman still breathing.

Jonah who had a soul till the last 30 mins of the series ending up just like his parents.

Ruth was the only character I was rooting for. She went through so much loss, finally got some wins in the end but you always knew how it was going to end. Only surprising thing is that Wendy was not the one who snitched on her.


Also the detective gotta be the dumbest man out there, bragging about evidence like you are not holding ashes of a man who got killed by his sister. What did he think he was goi g to accomplish lol? That was just a bad written scene

Bc my nikka, if she doesnt stay and slave for the cartel, they will kill her ass? Marty warned her to stay away but she wanted to gas Ruth up into taking the casino from Marty. Now she gotta do her penance

Ruth got Ben wacked. Wendy actually put Ben safely in the mental hospital where he belonged. Ruth dumbass got him back out on the streets, then blamed Wendy.

So Ruth big gangsta and listening to the classics gimme a fukking break. They could’ve dragged some more episodes with javi and made it more interesting.

As fukked up as it sounds I kinda liked Wendy’s character (and the actor obviously did a great job). I saw a few comparisons to Skylar White but Skylar was always on the sidelines complaining or making things hard for Walt. She was just a passive obstacle. Wendy was fully committed to the game and I couldn’t help but enjoy watching her scheme, even when she was making thing worse. She’s the biggest piece of shyt on the show but I thought they did a great job of developing her character and showing her dive deeper into a life of crime.

and eventually Wendy still handled it and put him safely in the mental facility. And Ruth got him back out on the streets, it's Ruth's fault.

edit: also, Ben was also violent and would have eventually ran across the wrong person and got himself killed. He's the same guy that beat up some worker at that school which led him to running to find Wendy. How people keep blaming Wendy for what was going to eventually happen is beyond me.
