Did the feds use that crash to help the Byrds fake their deaths and go into witness protection?
They did the same thing in Batman. Bruce Wayne blew up his entire mansion to fake his death.
Marty's family might be hiding out with Tasha St. Patrick.

I dont really see it ending like that though. I'm guessing it will be an ending closer to what we seen in The Americans.

I think we'll see Marty and Wendy "free" at the end, but both kids out of reach. whether its their both dead, or some other shyt like that.

this is one of those no-win ending type of situations. just my guess though.

Willing to bet they all get sent into witness protection BUT separately, meaning that none of them will know where the other is, along with their new identity. Except for Jonah since he's still a minor, he'll get sent with either Wendy or Marty

If this ends with the entire family alive and consequence free - witness protection is not a consequence IMO - this show will definitely fail to reach that prestige tv level. Somebody gotta die.

I like Jonah but feel like this is another example of the show's questionable plotting. You can't convince me that the Marty that has been presented thus far is fine with Jonah being involved with a mentally unstable bytch who he KNOWS is being targeted by the cartel. You might say "Marty isn't fine with it" - sure whatever. You can't rely on the "do no harm" parenting style here. Especially after seeing your son have an emotional breakdown over the possibility of going to jail? At best you're looking at a potential loose end that the feds/cops/etc snag. At worse you're getting a call that your son got killed in a cartel shooting for hanging near Darlene. What do you do? Dunno, but in a show where Marty is able to solve any scenario presented to him, I'm not accepting the "but Jonah is a kid what can you do" argument.

Also can we talk about how Wendy went from being one of the most starkly pragmatic characters to a fukking idiot?

Probably Wendy so they're both miserable as fukk. All of them probably end up working for the feds.

The very beginning of the episode shows them dying from a car crash. :russ: :mjlol: It was clearly a timeskip, but I doubt they get away untouched.

We don't know if they die or not there. And I wouldn't be satisfied even if they died there. I get it from a writing perspective - Marty, the guy who skillfully controlled everything ends up losing his family in a split second car accident. Still...
