I lost 7 of my 10 placement matches last week and got placed gold at like 2450 SR

Had to grind my way out playing a Battle Rein, sitting at 2800 SR, hoping I get to diamond soon

Not always, sometimes u get dumb asses that have no business playing DPS , I went 1-5 yesterday, as Rein, I kept having gold obj time and kills, with silver kills n damage in every loss, and I'm telling myself. This shouldnt b the case if everyone doing their job, today I won 4 in a row bcuz I decided to auto lock DPS

Obviously. There are definitely times where a loss in this game is 100% out of your control. But more often then not people will instantly go to blaming their teammates rather then blame themselves. Especially after a long losing streak. If you losing more then 3 times in a row more often then not it's something on your end.

There's a reason why certain games even when u lose you barely lose any points and certain games where u win you gained tons more points then you usually do. This is because every single game is calculated based on your solo actions compared to everyone else using that character in your skill level.

People love to blame matchmaking when in reality it only matches you up with other people of the same skill level. In order to climb you single handily should be better then everyone else in your level and with how many people flock to dps using dps characters are the easiest way to prove this. It really just comes down to people thinking they are better then they actually are.

Widow/Phara/Mcree/Genji etc all can hard carry games up until high diamond.

Best way to climb is pick who you are good at. Seriously. At lower levels comp really doesn't matter compared to your solo efforts. If you know you will do your best as mcree and there's 3 other people who picked dps. fukk it. Pick mcree. Come mid game when you have all golds and everyone else is lacking obviously someone needs to get the hint to change.

Comp doesn't matter until u reach a level where your solo efforts dont make a big enough difference. But this is where you got to be real with yourself. If you know theres someone else on your team who is doing better then you on dps and your lacking a healer or a tank then yea switch to healer or a tank to help your team out. But if you know your dps is better then everyone else on your team then fukk it. Make them switch.

I mainly duo queue with my boy that's a diamond, I hover around 2900 all season, our Rein&Zarya combo is pretty nice, where we can carry a team that is slacking, but he hasn't been on so I been solo since the new season

Yea and those times are unfortunately inevitable just due to the nature of the game. All im saying is a long losing streak is something that is in your control rather then losing a game here and there.
