I can now understand why people don't like playing tank. Started playing as Rein and it's impossible for me to be aggressive. Whenever I try to be more offensive there are no teammates backing me up or helping me out in any way. There would be many situations where enemies would have 1 hp left after I do my Earthshatter hoping that the attackers on my team would finish them off....nope. Many situations where I try to be aggressive getting in the enemy's guts hoping for someone to heal me....nope. I've had more success playing boring (defensive, standing there with my shield up most of the time). I just love killing shyt with that hammer. shyts so satisfying.

Pllaying tank or healer with no squad or mic is a massive L in pretty much every game

If you cant rack up Elims with Zarya, you're doing something wrong. Especially if you're running a twin towers lineup pairing Zarya with Rein/DVa/Hog. Zarya is built to defend and support and aggressive playstyle, then once she gets a good charge she then herself can get unleashed on a rival team.

As with anything gotta have a competent team. Heals to support aggresisve play and tanks that watch each others back.

Yeah, without coms or a good team its basically suicide with anyone besides D.Va, which I why I think D.Va is my best tank. I actually have a much harder time as a healer because people love to be shyt positions. And for the healers I like to play (moira and Ana) positioning is key to getting the most out of them.

Just finished my placements only playing Zaria/Moira. I got 4 wins , 1 tie , 5 losses and still got placed in 3700.

Brigitte is great...literally one of my top 5 heroes EASILY. I keep her in the pocket always.

Besides I'm a Phara main mostly...so a Brigitte isn't a issue for me most of the time.

Hammond, however, is

Dude's tether makes him move WAY too fast for a tank, I think his left click is a bit too strong.

I now main Lucio, I pair nicely with Rein/Zarya. I go where they go and keep them alive and they keep me alive. I don't even play with a mic but it's worked out. I finally just said fukk it and mained Lucio, kept these two tanks alive and now i'm pretty close to Diamond. I let em know i'm ready to drop the beat, rein rushes in there, i drop the beat, he uses shatter and we fukk shyt up.

Huge difference too when i was stuck in Gold vs now in Platinum. Reins know what's up when i'm ready to drop the beat.

I gave up on competitive. Tired of having all the golds and losing because my teammates suck or having a teammate quit. I just play 3v3 elimination.

The mercy nerf sucks breh. I still play her but don't heal as much as before. I try heal people during fire fights but the damage they take outpaces my healing.
