As someone said it's obvious they've been out of the public act too long. Jay, Kanye, and Dre & Snoop were all still mainstream relevant when they headlined. I'm honestly wondering whether Nas will get the same reaction tonight.

im pretty sure they're going to get hype for nas, but wont know any of his lyrics

enough internet blogs/rappers big up nas enough for the hipsters to atleast know who he is

my homeboys looked at me crazy when i said i never want to go to coachella cuz the crowd would get me heated, bet they understand now :smh:

just watched it...it was pretty lame...no energy, and not just the crowd....its like them nikkas (dre more) were just reading the lyrics off a teleprompter...no emotion or passion...just simply collectin a check...they didnt even move around the stage...and dre gotta be the only rap nikka that ive seen actually ask for a microphone with the big ass cord dragging around, that alone prevents you from doing too much :heh:

you could tell they dont really fukk with each other anymore,,amazing catalogue, and it was a dope set...but god damn it coulda been 10x better

the fact that they doing this lazy shyt for like 60 more events :dead:

they play an ATL festival in a few weeks right, I hope they have a stream for that at least

first time in ages they perform together, and the crowd aint feeling it, so why go all out then. and dre was just fukking around too.

and I hate festivals for ANY artist, except the EDM guys where the music is really obvious and people jump up and down, or a hometown festival, or festivals in europe that are really appreciative. something gets lost in translation at these things, you got indie bands, some light dance music, to outkast? heh

outkast coachella performance

:dead:

Make your first reunion in front of 18-21 year old cacs who don't give a fukk about an outkast reunion, brehs then get mad at them when they don't know your lyrics from 15 years ago

"Are yall alive?!"
:deadmanny:

Were they serious with this shyt? You don't go to some dirtyass cac festival for your comeback and expect massive love. These are the most entitled kids ever, think they give a shyt? Should've did this in ATL in front of black folk. The folk who've been waiting for you to unite. Not some kids who say you're the best rap group because they read it online, yet don't know any of your fukking lyrics. Also, maybe if dre wasn't consistently dropping trash these past few years with his robotic flow, trying too hard to go over folks heads, these young kids might go back and check his old shyt.

Basically they trying to please everybody and make those people who say "I listen to everything" feel like they're more knowledgeable music wise.

The entire vibe of the show definitely shifted for the worse after Dre's Love Below sh!t...he had some energy and was bopping around early and it was dope...then all of a sudden he started acting like that stage was the last place he wanted to be on the planet...the future cameo was weird, don't know if they were running out of time but the way they cut him off was awkward...and from that part on Dre and Big pretty much had zero chemistry on stage together

as legendary as they are...and how classic their catalogue is...they should NOT be headlining these festivals...honestly, the reception is always gonna be kinda shaky...theyve got to be the most low key nikkas to have sold a gazillion records

they would have been better off headlining their own tour, and put nikkas like b.o.b and them c-list dungeon family nikkas as the openers....it probably would work out way better in my opinion

it wouldnt go over well in a tired, exhausted festival crowd that just wants hits and to turn up...but i think they should open their set with "claimin true" :banderas:
