What's the deal with Disney+ half assing TV series.

It's like they take a B level movie script. Add some filler to it and make it a 6 episode 38 minutes per episode series.

This is just an extended ass director cut of a B level movie.

Disney+ series got to change, because there is no point or flow to do this in weekly chunks.

You’re better off starting this shyt at the halfway mark, because you actually feel a the real plot progression. Like I already know from every other Disney+ series to not fukk with this till Episode 3. To zero surprise, shyt don't actually happen till the halfway mark with only 3 episodes left.

There is plenty of fukking material to work with to be honest. They easily could of spent an extra two episodes just breaking down Obi-Wan 10 years of exile and loneliness.

I'm loving the series, but this 6 episode 38 minute format needs to fukking stop.

I fukked with it, must admit when it ended I was a bit but on a second watch I enjoyed it more.

Things that annoyed me on first watch but not so much now:

- Obi running: obviously to give Leia more time it just looks a bit clunky
- Vader intentionally lets Obi escape, to fukk around with him ("you will suffer"), he's not interested in killing him yet. I wish they had him say something to acknowledge this, "run" or some shyt.

There's no magic because they put out 4 movies and 4 shows in a 7 year span. Even the prequels had 3 year breaks


They oversaturate. They're doing the same with MCU.

the idea of superhero fatigue didn't jive with me until Disney+ came around. and you can counter with, "you don't have to watch them all you know," which is true, but they've programmed you as an MCU fan to want to be caught up entirely with the story. that being said, i'm ready to bail on the shows. i think they've all been about 33% really good, and that's not enough. Moon Knight sucked balls, imo. Miss Marvel isn't for me. I don't know. Do I give a shyt about Echo bc Daredevil will probably get 20 minutes of screentime across 8 weeks? probably not. She Hulk will be a "watch whenever i get around to it" show, and I guess Secret Invasion should be dope... but they need to fukkin chill at some point

honestly not that excited for any of the SW shyt. Ashoka is a stupid looking character i don't feel like pretending to care about. Andor might look cool, but they all *look* cool at first.

i feel you, but they just trying to bridge the gap between Revenge of the Sith Kenobi and A New Hope Kenobi. It low key would be jarring to watch him beasting on people in this and suddenly just 9 years later he's the elderly dude in a new hop who gets easily killed by vader.
They are intentionally showing that he is rusty and hasn't done much with the force in years. It's really the fault of the prequels going a little too overboard with the gymnastics in the fight scenes. They should've went more samurai with the sword fights but instead went power rangers
