Kinda weird when Deborah Chow directed multiple episodes of The Mandalorian. I saw her on all those Disney Gallery: Mandalorian episodes. That shyt was laughable. Obi-Wan getting dusted by the lesser Skywalker

In the original and prequel trilogy Obi Wan detest blasters, but in this show he uses a blaster..
I wonder if that was done on purpose or the writers didn't notice

Of course it was done on purpose. To show how different things are than in the prequels.

Obi-Wan is just desperately trying to stay alive at this point and has to take any weapon he can get, he doesn't have the luxury of being picky.

I could be off cuz I'm only in the first 10 minutes of episode 1, but they showed those lil younglings in the beginning of the episode; one of them was a lil black girl. The Third Sister is also a sister. In the saloon, when the Grand Inquisitor says that there is a Jedi hiding in this saloon, the camera is on the third sister. Then we hear that she has a fixation with Kenobi, who was Anakin's master. Anakin, of course was executing younglings as per Order 66. He prolly killed a bunch of that lil girl's friends. So I believe that young Jedi brehette is now this Third Sister seeking vengeance against Obi-Wan for how he "failed" the Jedi Order.

3rd sister is out for herself and will turn against the empire (including Vader) when the time comes.

I'm enjoying it so far. Young Leia is probably the standout character.

Hopefully Reva's backstory isn't something petty like "Obi-Wan was mean to me when I was a Padawan".

I just watched both eps and im wondering if Reva was that black Padawan in the group when Order 66 was given.

Kid was the first person on the screen outside of the recap.

Honestly as a fan I love the new content but all this show does is introduce a plethora of continuity errors. I asked this on Twitter…

Quick question, is this show suitable for a 10 year old? I'll probably watch it first before he does anyway but wanted to get a consensus.

why wouldn't it be? it's on disney plus. and star wars never has been known to have vulgarity. and you're not gonna see any blood and gore.

I liked the first 2 episodes. Also, I want to know why Reva is hell bent on catching Obi it can't just be because Vader wants him there has to be a deeper reason. Maybe her father or mother was a young Padawan that fled during Order 66.

I think she wants to capture him to in order to curry favor in the republic and specifically vador.

You really think none of the shows writers watched Episode III

Watching the opening scene, I realised George really saved nikkas asses with Order 66 cos a lot of creatives dealing with Star Wars would be scrambling for action scenes and story setups otherwise

The "Skywalker" thing has been around for a while, and I've always thought that it has been a problem. Take Luke back to live with people that Annakin is related to and knows? That's always been a TERRIBLE idea.
