Buying both Digital and Blu Ray. Jordan Peele is a fukking genius
Ah, so it seems you’re also out of your depth in the movie theater as well as the basketball courtThe fact that you believe this shyt is deep enough not to get, is the problem with film/TV discourse nowadays. These delusions of grandeur where folks build their expertise around watching some mainstream films and think it's the apex of cinematic storytelling, and anybody that dare voice anything not in tune with the groupthink doesn't understand some ABC-123 shyt is hilarious.
Beyond its spectacle, there is nothing there.
It's a fun film, and anyone trying to force some deep, meaningful subtext (that it horribly stumbles over) is on some smart dumb shyt.
Unadulterated trash.
Peele had a spark when he started, now he's seemingly throwing out material to fuel the existence of a echo chamber that consists of a collective IQ that is only matched by the lowbrow state of his films' subtext. It's even more painful that there are actual Black auteurs out there (past and present) who've managed to dismantle this subject matter in more thought-provoking fashion, but nxggas wanna stay hyping up Kanye West with a camcorder.
If you really don’t care then why the fukk did you quote me saying a bunch of nothing? Keep your corny ass self away from my alerts box.i really don't care about that goofy shyt you speaking of. Film nikkas think everything needs to be cryptic then be wondering why they shyt is considerd obscure
Facts, Peele hasnt missed yetLoved It. Jordan is 3 for 3. And again these are Original Concepts. Not Comics, Not based on previous Books or other source Material. Sci Fi at it's finest. Loved all the themes symbolism about Black people being erased from cinema as well. He did a fantastic job with the suspense. I left the movie wanting more knowledge about the Alien so there is prequel/sequel potential. Keke and Daniel did well in the leads. The only thing I'll say is once they knew what it was. There a$$e$ should have been out of there, lol. Lowkey this reminded me a little of "Tremors" as far as the style of them being out in open land/desert. It also brought back memories of the film "Fire in the Sky" as far as UFO's.
at this hypocrisy master trying to label somebody.Lemme get this straight:
You a Lakers fan
You a Cowboys fan
And you stan Peele.
You're a living, breathing bandwagon.
This was fire. Cinematography was amazing.. i was trying to piece together the Gordy thing early on but once i got it
People who are only gonna be viewing from a real surface level are gonna miss sh-t and say well that's dumb but people should understand by now that Peele is gonna have layers
