For instance, I imagine that if NFT's had been around back then, then @3Rivers would be a millionaire for creating the MJ crying smilie

There is literally nothing stopping that from happening....but trademarks.

Anything can be minted as an NFT.
It's cultural significance, rarity, authenticity or artistry that makes a sale.


I was thinking of minting some old gaming clips but I don't think I'll be able to resell them because of copyright.

So as long as there's no trademark or copyright you should be okay to mint.

NBA top shots, the season is approaching too so they’re definitely gonna have them.

Not sure how these may differ from Top Shots but hopefully it's a smoother purchasing process. I think the nba is partnered with top shot for authenticity so who knows if these will be accepted without any issues.

I’m guessing They’re like sports cards, the price is low now cause the season is not here yet. Buy when it’s low. But I’m not sure if the older ones will be worth more than the newer ones especially when a player performs well in a game.
