I already got my physical copy from Best Buy on Tuesday, but out of curiosity, I checked the album's availability on Best Buy's website (for both the deluxe and regular version). They were sold out in like 3 out of the 4 nearest Best Buys, including the one I bought it from. I'm starting to think Def Jam did not ship enough copies.

Me too, I'm really beginning to believe that he could've done North of 200k (between 180-200k) if they would've shipped enough copies. Nas's core fanbase are still actually buying CD's. I HATE that I can't get a physical CD for my collection even though I've of the editions version


This bodes well though in a sense that he shouldn't have a big second week fall off and hopefully the album will have legs. He's got a good 2-3 more great singles/videos he can drop as well. I hope he gets his long deserved Grammy for this album.

I went back and listened to Here My Dear because of this album. Marvin went in for most of the cd on the divorce, while Nas used it more as motivation to spaz out on a bunch of different ish. Sparrow

at first i considered adding black bond & where's the love after accident murderer but that would really cut the album in half.. might make the second part too mellow. i love it just how made it there now, makes more sense lyrically & sonically

I've heard that remix is just the straight beat with the Internz beat switch at the third verse cut out. Nothing special....

Less Salaam and more No I.D. and this would be a classic to me. I can't front, Nas does get up for Salaam beats but the tracks are almost never my favorites on an album and if they are then the album is weak imo
