I also remember Nas mentioned a Lost Tapes 3 with features. However, it seems as though he clearly changed his mind with the explosion of music coming from him and Hit Boy. I wonder though if the Lost Tapes 3 if really off the table. Here is whey, and I know I said this here before. I've heard interviews where Nas always thought it was a good idea to throw a project like the Lost Tapes out ahead of a new album. He did that with the first Lost Tapes and he was pissed at Def Jam for not wanting to put out the Lost Tapes 2 before, I think the Untitled album. That's when we went off but he stated his plan to release it first then follow up with the album. Unless he has totally changed up, it would seem that this strategy is something that he believes in. WE all know he has more and he has made clear that he has Lost Tapes 3 ready to go. I wonder...

Lost Tapes 2 was supposed to come before Life Is Good.

He said there will be a Lost Tapes 3 eventually and I don’t think thats off the table but it’ll certainly be a few more years since he’s focusing on the album with Premo right now.

I know he said he has 2-3 albums worth of material on Sony that will "stay lost" and thats sucks but I do believe there is more decent material on Def Jam. If the cat Hip Hop is as dope as they say, I'd like to hear that stuff. Justice League, No ID, and other stuff from the Def Jam era probably exists.

You know I heard/seen the talk and rumors and shhit, I didn’t know anything was confirmed and is 100 tho, thought nigs was just wishful thinking. Can’t wait..

They put out an entire press release last year. It was supposed to drop last year but Premo wants to perfect the production I believe.

Yeah, I've seen the news but I've been out of it. I slide in ever so often. There can be too many opinions and too much redundancy for me, on these boards. I've learned to let Nas come to me. I'll get a Google notification when a Nas related article drops in the news and I'll check the article, which will help me determine if I want to visit the boards and engage with the community about the latest. However, I do know that the boards gets the info from Nas on Twitter and other social media. (dropped Twitter like everyone else should a while ago). Of course, I still am always interested in unreleased Nas music especially Sony era stuff so I do check in from time to time.

This looks great as far as work in progress but i admit i was hoping we were gonna see it sooner than fall...

And looks like the reddit story is more or less confirmed with the legendary mcs releasing material (or planning to id better say as i still remeber what happened with the 50 years of hip hop anniv producer series).

Years been dry so far so anticipation will only build... i just hope its gonna be dope enough for this stage of their careers
