It's time to have a legit conversation about Street Dreams Remix is it a top 10 Nas song? Especially when you consider how different it is from the OG version somewhat glorifying the lifestyle to the remix pitfalls warnings? What y'all think?
Only the Gods can watch the Earth twist

Top 2 for me

Top 2 for me

How many in my crew is into gaining?
Subtract the weak links up out the chain and
Rise and start reigning
Blasphemy, using Nas name in vain
Some claim supreme being
Yet they lied in his name
I tried to learn the game and only thing
I found incredible
Everything I tried to learn see I already knew
And it's embedded in my heart now
So I can sit back, count a stack and play my part now

:wow:

I saw the NaS's Calendar photo so he's going back in the studio with Premo heavy this month. From 18-23 NaS gave us 7 LP's and a Compilation which was unprecedented for his career. I'm perfectly fine with him and Premo taking their time. (With that said, please let it drop this year, lol). How many songs do you guys want? Short and sweet 10 and under or 12-15 tracks? What about features also?

I'd say 10 to 12 would be the perfect sweet spot

14 would be perfect.

I’d like to see Nas hold it down solo as its been literally decades since people have wanted this album. But if he has any features I think, like the last Gangstar album, a mixture of old and new school would be cool. Maybe get a posthumous Guru verse. Have J.Cole or Kendrick on a joint. A Ghost or Rae verse would always be welcome.

Im physically trapped down on the surface.
I always loved how he set off the 1st verse

Low profile, rap style slick as Nu Nile
Give the crew pounds every time we cover new ground
Still survivin', but there's a few down back in the essence
I'm askin' questions on the phone with jail adolescents
Quiet confession, the system's applyin' the pressure
My mind is guessin', is livin' and dyin' a lesson?

I agree, something like 12 songs is a nice spot. Would love NaS, AZ and Premo. As for other features, I don't know. K Dot is hot right now and he shouted out NaS for the Super Bowl love. Maybe someone from the 90's that fit Premo's sound. A posthumous Guru verse would be cool like Ziggiy said. Again he basically did "Magic 3/KDIII" with barely no features. Maybe NaS pulls a "Illmatic/Lost Tapes" and this has minimal features.
